Our expert knowledge of sunroofs means that we can repair mechanics, re-seal to prevent leaking, replace whole units and even retro-fit sunroofs to cars without them. A brief demo is illustrated below. The donor car is a Mk1 Golf Gti:

The original roof is removed using specialist equipment.

As you can see the lining has perished with rot and the metal roof has rusted, meaning the sunroof leaks water. The new roof is aligned and measured to fit the aperture once the rust has been cut away.

The rust is machined out of the roof to expose fresh metal for the re-fit.

The new roof is ready to be fitted. The roof is bolted into place and a full silicon lining is inserted to prevent any water ingress.

In this example a fully electric tilt and slide sunroof is opted for. This is wired in and mounted.

The roof is mounted flush with the roofline, further sealed and treated. Finishers are mounted both inside and out to give a complete 'factory fit' look. See for yourself!!!
