How is window tinting done?

The vehicle is extensively cleaned in our laboratory-like workshops. Special chemicals are used to prepare the glass to remove all traces of silicones, dirt, bacteria and air-born invisible contaminates.

The car is then stripped of all components that restrict access to the glass and surround.

The outsides of the door frame are masked to further avoid contamination.

The laser cut film is applied to the glass by one of our trained specialists. The tinting application now begins….

On windows with excessive curvature such as rear windows and some front doors, the film has to be heat shrunk on the outside first to ensure no creases emerge once the film is fitted.

Some door glass may need to be removed for complete access.

Once the technician is satisfied there are no creases or contamination, the car is put back together, cleaned and the glass left to dry.
